You have your new blog theme, now what? The first thing you probably want to do is give the search engines some food to feast on. An easy way to do that without spending hours writing your own posts is to use sponsor created RSS Feeds. Not all feeds are created equally. These feeds can be used in two ways, some feeds can be used as blog posts and others as sidebar gallery links. There are some wordpress plugins that can help you with these tasks, and totally automate your blogs. Below I will give you a list of plugins, and how to configure them, and a list of sponsors that have some good RSS Feeds.
Wordpress RSS Plugins
FeedWordpress
This plugin is used to syndicate your rss feeds as posts on your blog. To use it is pretty straightforward, just login to the admin panel and activate the plugin. This plugin has many settings, all will depend on how you want to operate your blog. Personally I set my blogs to update automatically every 600 minutes so it is truely hands free.But you go in and manually tailor each feed as you wish.
FeedWordpress Duplicate Post Filter
To use this plugin, just login to your admin panel and activate it.
KB Advanced RSS Widget
This is only for those of you who use widgets and wish to use gallery feeds in your sidebar, to use this plugin log into the admin and activate it. Then go to appearance / widgets and drag it to your widget list. Then just paste the feed url into the box for RSS Feed URL. There are other optional configuration options, just play around with them until they match your blog.
